World Mission and diaconate

Among world mission and global diaconate includes all activities outside our borders are undertaken with the gospel as inspiration. We talk about world mission projects related to gemeenteopbouw, church planting, evangelism and discipleship. Diaconate in the world is about the prevention, elimination or reduction of social need and social suffering. Often these projects related to a local church, and deal with health, education and poverty reduction. The separation of world mission and global diaconate is often difficult to draw. We have therefore chosen to distinguish on this website and in the following projects do not explicitly name.

The emergency fund of the Union
Especially for disaster and risk the Union has a fund which can be collected. The money that is collected is used by organizations such as TEAR, EBF and Baptist World Aid.

Besides the above, larger projects, the Union is involved in church planting project of the European Baptist Federation. This project is called the SMP. More information can be found here: www.ebf.org / imp .
