The World Evangelical Alliance and International Marriage Week call the church worldwide to Sunday, February 12, 2012 to consider the value of marriage. The Sunday falls in the period from February 7 to 14, named the International Marriage Week. The initiative is aimed at the marriage positively to highlight and reinforce existing relationships.
On Monday, February 6, 2012 in Rotterdam is the official opening of the Marriage Week will take place. Netherlands Foundation for Marriage Week presents the results of the survey "Divorce and Local Government". This study was conducted in Almere, Amersfoort, Doetinchem, Maastricht and Rotterdam in collaboration with the GUIDE Network and Marriage Course.
Netherlands Marriage Week encourages local churches, organizations and businesses in this period activities (married) to organize and set in many other ways positive attention to the marriage.
